The 3/8 larger pipe is referred to as suction line SL, both pipes are encased with 1/2 thick low-density polyethylene foam insulation. This line set includes 18 feet of 14-4 wag 600v wire for electrically connecting the indoor evaporator to outdoor unit. The tubing is easily connected by pre-flared fittings without need to solder.
